If you are a vineyard, winery, winemaker or in PR, social media or marketing for a winery and would like to send us your wine for a taste and talk about your wine and winery, we encourage you to Put A Message In Our Bottle and let's get the conversation started. We would appreciate the opportunity to share your passion, wine and craftsmanship with others. We promise to taste and talk about every wine we receive and provide information about how the wine was made, your vineyards (if applicable), your winery and anything else you think would be of interest.
We can probably get a lot of information from your website but we are also interested in sharing backstories and unique facts about you, your winery and your wines. The only way to get those is to actually talk to you via phone or in person.
What a novel concept huh?
In the age of electronic communication, Twitter and social media (all of which we love at PTC) REAL relationships are built and knowledge is transferred best with personal interaction.
We are committed to your wine being tasted in optimum condition so upon receiving your wine it will be stored in our cellar at proper cellaring temperature and humidity until tasting. This will also give the wine an opportunity to settle down and unwind from it's journey. We will taste, talk and discuss every wine we receive.
At Pulling The Cork we believe in transparency and authenticity. Our commitment to everyone is to be transparent and authentic when tasting and talking about wine. We know you expect that anyway.
Typically, PTC will assign a score to a wine based on the most common 100 point scale. You can see an explanation for how we taste and score wine here. We also fully understand we are not Wine
Spectator, Robert Parker or any other number of so called wine critics (a good thing in many peoples eyes). We just love sharing our passion for wine, including lesser known and new wines, with everyone. So if you would prefer we not assign a score to your wine but just taste, describe and talk about your wine and winery just let us know. Of course, we would rather you just let us have at it but we will respect your wishes.
PTC is open to arranging visits and tours of your vineyards, winery and wine making facilities. We know this is where you ply your art and craft so we will be respectful of your time, facilities and property; only sharing images, video and comments that will not jeopardize your brand, proprietary information or your business.
We will be your invited guests and, as such, we will act accordingly.
